I finally broke down and bought a PDA. Found a great price on a S360. BUT I cannot get the sony desk and my microsoft address book or calendar to synchronize.

I installed the intellisync lite from the CD, the configure icon appears but it does not show ANY programs when I try to use it.

I have tried exporting from the calendar and address book and importin to the palm desk top for clie. It seems on program will only recognize .dba files and the other .wab. I tried using vcal (or something close to that but that. The export program shows that they went to the Sony program but there is nothing showing.

Any suggestions, it seems this should be soooo easy.

Thanks.

My S360 came with a copy of Pumatech's Intellisync Lite which, when configured, took over from the Palm conduits and synced the handheld to Outlook. It does the job reasonably well. So you ought to have the solution on the CD -- maybe even already installed. Just search through the menus and desktop icons looking for something called Intellisync or Intellisync Lite.

My only gripe with it was that it violated one of the basic tenets of conduit design by requiring the user to decide what to do when there were conflicts. I tried every possible setting before contacting Pumasoft who told me that I'd have to buy the full version to be able to turn off the unneeded prompts. So I uninstalled it and went to syncing to Palm Desktop.
