About a month ago, my Tungsten C (which I think is about 2 years old) started having apparent battery problems. It didn't seem to retain its charge for very long, and would power off by itself.
At someone's suggestion, I tried replacing the batter (which I obtained from some reputable site), using the directions provided. But after I did this, I could not get the unit to power on at all. And when I plugged it into the charger, the screen went bright, yet blank. I have no idea whether I made the problem worse, or perhaps touched something I shouldn't have accidentally, when trying to switch the battery.
Anyway, it's possible that the unit is broken beyond repair now. But I think it's also possible that someone comfortable with electronics might be able to get the thing to work.
So, if anyone has any interest in buying this from me, let me know. Since I am selling this strictly "as is", I will entertain any offer, no matter how low. Maybe the parts can even be used for some other purpose.
