Unable to proceed a Hard Reset on M515

Hi,

I have a M515 and I can not proceed a Hard reset on it. I have the message displayed so as to choose between erase all the data or not. If I choose Yes (Up button) I only have a flashing dipslay screen with the message 'Palm Powered'. a soft reset does the same !
Anybody has an idea about this Bug ?

There may be a stuck button. Press each button (Datebook, etc.) a few times then try Hard Reset again.

Just for information, all the buttons are OK and not stuck. I really do not understand what's going on with my PDA !!! Does anybody have the same pb ?

I have the exact same problem. My M515 consistantly reboots. Reset button does not help. It returns to the reboot state. I have checked all buttons and they seem to be alright. Why has this happen and how do I go about resolving this major problem. Help need help!! Anyone?

I will send my Palm M515 back to Palm Computing for an exchange or reparation.
I have tried to empty the battery and it is always the same problem. There is nothing to do about that.

I would try reseting the palm while it is in the cradle

Doing a soft reset in the cradle will only reset the charging circuit.
"Return" and "replace" are the words needed here.

Thanks everybody for your answer. My Palm M515 will go back to Palm Computing soon. Now I am wondering if I will buy a Clie Sony to replace it. I am quite interesting with the Sony T675C or the NR70V. I will see......
