Problem with Pocket Informant Pro 5

I have just purchased the latest version of Pocket Informant Pro 5 and have been getting used to the new interface. I have noticed however, that not all the contacts that I moved on my pocket pc into a new category have been replicated in Outlook on my desktop pc. I have not had any problems syncing contacts before, but now that I have this new program, it doesn't seem to always recreate the categories I have created on the pocket pc onto the desktop. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I have an Ipaq H3970 running pocket pc 2002, and Windows XP with Office 2000 on my laptop, with the latest version of ActiveSync.
