Mbook CF Tray

The plastic portion of the pull-out metal CF card tray on my Mbook just fell off. I can put it back but it doesn't seem to "clip" into the metal. I've looked around my desk to see if any tiny plastic part had broken off, but can't find anything. The plastic stays in place when I close the tray, but tends to keep falling off when I open it.

Has this happened to anyone else? What's the solution - Scotch tape, duct tape.......???? Or just live with it? :confused:

Having looked at mine, the plastic bit appears to be held in place by two small circular 'knobs' that stick through (from under the metal), and their rims prevent them sliding out. This is a fairly standard (and cheap) way of holding things in place, and I suspect that both rims on yours have simply snapped off.

Personally I'd suggest glueing it in place, probably using some Araldite where-ever the plastic protrudes through the metal (such as those 'knobs'). Just be sure that a CF card will still fit in!
