I re-installed Palm Desktop but am now getting this message: "The setup on the handheld could not be updated because the PC does not have a hostname or IP address."

Could anyone possibly help me with this? Thank you very much.

I haven't seen that message so it's probably best to wait for someone more knowledgeable to step forward, but in the meantime my suggestion is to right-click on that hotsync icon down in the lower right corner of your Windows screen (or select it from Palmdesktop) and look for a ticked-off 'network' synch. De-select, or change to cable synch.

Thank you for the suggestion. I "un-checked" Network and the HotSynch is working but...not all of my calendar appointments are hotsynching. I can see them on the desktop screen but they don't synch over to my T/E.

Everything else in Outlook seems to be hotsynching Ok but not the calendar. Does anyone have any ideas how I could fix this?
