MPEG-2 movie on HX4700

Hi, I am new to the forum, this is my first question.

Is there a way to play 720 x 576 MPEG-2 movies on the HX4700? The files are from a Nexus-S digital Satelite card.

Presume this needs recoding to a lower resolution ie. 480x576. I could do this with MovieMaker or Pinnacle.

I have not found yet a player for the HX4700 that can play higher resolution than MPEG-1. Grateful for an advice?

One thing about mpeg-2 is that it takes a lot of space, storage card on pocketpc is still much smaller than desktop's hard drive.
You may want to take a look at BetaPlayer
http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/
It can play divx, xvid and mp4 and a few more formats.

There are many programs that can convert from mpeg2 to those formats. I think there are a few that can capture directly to those formats. HX4700 should be able to play 640X480, 1Mbps.
