Jabra Free Speak 250 & Ipaq

I have an Ipaq rx3715 & recently bought a Jabra Free Speak 250 to use as a BT headset for my cell phone. I also had to purchase an adaptor that made the cellphone Bluetooth enable.

The problem that I am having is that the Headset & the adaptor pair fine, and I can pair the headset to my ipaq, however it says that there are no services available.

Has anyone else tried this. I want to pair it to my IPAQ so that I can enable contacts to dial automatically.

I don't think it's going to work, the adpater to your phone probably works only with the headset and not with other type of bluetooth devices. If you can't pair this phone with the ipaq then you're going to need a bluetooth phone.

I can pair the IPAQ & the headset together, however it just says that their are "no services available for this device, please load the services." Im not sure what this means, but I am assuming that they will not work together.

I bought the Headset to use as a headset, and not too concerned about the ability to use my IPAQ. I will just type the number into the phone.

For anyone wondering about getting a Jabra BT headset.. They are great. Well worth the money.

Bluetooth works in pair, so to have the ability to dial from ipaq, you'll need to pair ipaq to the phone and that does not involve the headset at all. When you pair the ipaq to the headset, it will only allow you to use it as a headset on the ipaq (and again it does not involve dialing the phone at all), unfortunately your model does not have bluetooth headset profile (hence the error you saw).
If you have true bluetooth phone, you'll be able to dial from contacts on the ipaq without the need of any headset. You will need to upgrade ROM if you don't already have the latest one.
