Transcriber freezing up...

I just purchased an rx3715. Almost everytime I try to use the transcriber option it freezes the entire unit. I have to do a soft reset to get back track. I can't figure it out.

I'm still open to suggestions, I just re-installed it and it still freezes when I try to use it. Thanks in advance.

Transcriber is part of the operating system in ROM, you do not need to install it. Did you start to have problem after you install it or you just have problem right out of the box? You should uninstall it and see if transcriber in ROM cause any problem. You may also have software conflict between transcriber and others. What other 3rd party applications are you running?

Thank you!! My mistake was installing an old transcriber program that was still on my desktop from a long time ago. I didn't know it was already on the ROM. Not sure how or where I got it, but you cleared it up for me. Thanks again.
