Strange pink color when I turn my IIIc on.

As soon as I turn on my IIIc - my screen is PINK.. and it fades to white in a few seconds. If its off for long periods, its pinker when I turn it on. If I have it on, and then I turn it off, and then turn it right back on - it isn't so pink.

I've done both a hard and soft reset.

Any suggestions???

ooh. This sound like a problem with the LCD. I don't think it would be a problem with internal connections that have worked loose, but it is possible...
I think the only way to solve this would be a new LCD panel and they are fairly expensive. I'd try to stick with it if it's not too annoying.

From Palm's website:

"This can be caused by an incorrect gas mixture in the bulb resulting in a pink hue"

if its under warranty i would think palm would just replace it otherwise they will want a hundred bucks and send you a refurb.
