I have learned of the the following software for macro recording & playback on PPC. I tried it with some apps but I would like to learn how it works with the Garmin apps.

Can someone try making Fastfinger-like scripts on your PPC using ButtonMax? A good script to try to create is a "route to home" script. I know Mick was going to give it a try - any luck?

I haven't tried ButtonMax yet (I am resisting loading any software I don't need until I get the bugs worked out on my Axim). But, the "Route to Home" is actually a built-in feature of the Garmin PPC software. Nice surprise.

Well you can always try something else - like route to a specified contact.

I'm also looking to ditch my iPaq for an Axim. Seeing as the Axim forum here is quiescent, I'd be interested in hearing what bugs you find as well as any solutions thereof.

Wow, currently active users: 515 Now that's what I call busy!
This is why I'm afraid to get a brand new device. Sucks all your free time away. :)

JMckie,
I must admit I forgot all about testing that S/W, I have been wrapped up with work etc.

I will try it this weekend, but I don't have my GPS10 yet so it will only be testing in other PPC apps.
