No turn preview map showing

Recently my iQue has not been displaying any map info on the turn previews. The preview screen comes up, but all black. What is strange is that it appears only in one square mile area. All other turn previews are normal. It used to work OK, and I've not updated the map, or any other software. All of a sudden, the turn previews are blank. The map detail is there is normal views.

Go to QueMap Preference menu and verify whether "Off" is selected under Turn Preview. If so change it to Both.

Try a soft reset. I'd be surprised if it worked but it's easy to try. After that doesn't work, try rebuilding the map on your computer and re-installing it. That should work. If the problem comes back, a card format would be advisable.

I did a soft reset and it did fix the problem. But...

Not before I did a little poking around. If I went to queTurns, the previews would show up just fine, only when actually on a route (or simulating) would the previews show only blank land.

It works fine now, so the map data must not be corrupt, oh well, I guess I won't worry so much.
