When I first got my a730, I got the WCF54G from Linksys, and there appeared to be issues with compatibility. They may fix it in the future, but it doesn't work now. It would not pick up a wireless connection 99% of the time. It would randomly get a signal. When it did, it couldn't use it. I had it for 3 days, and it was on all the time, it worked 2 times, for 2 minutes.
So I sent it back and went with the asus card.

I bought a DCF660W several years ago for the CF sleeve on my iPaq 3955. It worked OK from the outset but there was nothing spectacularly great about it. They came out with the 2.0 driver revision and it has fabulous management utilties in it, including a channel strength survey and profiles. REALLY good. Well, the drivers work OK with 2003 even though the 730 complained about it - the beta 2003 drivers gave me the same error messages and had none of the great utilities. It's EOL'd but I've seen them on the shelf. Good power consumption, too.
