I'm trying to set this up and I've been searching online for the last three hours with no luck. Is there a step-by-step set up guide somewhere online? All the sites I've found don't make any sense to me.

AnswerDude 03-08-2005, 10:13 PM There are a few guides in this thread, not sure if these are the ones you already saw. http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53799 xspot 03-08-2005, 10:37 PM Originally posted by AnswerDude There are a few guides in this thread, not sure if these are the ones you already saw. http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53799 Thanks for the link. Turns out that the welcome.exe thing fixed this problem too. I wish I would've known this was tied to my IE problem. Kept going over the instructions over and over and was getting very frustrated. Thanks again! Egmont 03-09-2005, 05:02 PM welcome.exe? I am new to this iPAQ also and have some problem setting up an ad-hoc with my laptop. Please enlighten me on this welcome.exe AnswerDude 03-09-2005, 10:09 PM When you run welcome.exe. the system resets all the network related settings (ie. registry entries, connection manager, ...) back to default condition without the need to do a hard reset. This trick is usually used when you had things set up and running properly but for whatever reason all of the sudden things stop working. Egmont 03-09-2005, 10:12 PM Thank you, but where is this file? On the CD? AnswerDude 03-09-2005, 10:18 PM It's part of the operating system, it is on the ipaq in Windows folder. PDA Street
