I'm trying to set this up and I've been searching online for the last three hours with no luck. Is there a step-by-step set up guide somewhere online? All the sites I've found don't make any sense to me.

Thanks for the link. Turns out that the welcome.exe thing fixed this problem too. I wish I would've known this was tied to my IE problem. Kept going over the instructions over and over and was getting very frustrated.

I am new to this iPAQ also and have some problem setting up an ad-hoc with my laptop.

When you run welcome.exe. the system resets all the network related settings (ie. registry entries, connection manager, ...) back to default condition without the need to do a hard reset. This trick is usually used when you had things set up and running properly but for whatever reason all of the sudden things stop working.

It's part of the operating system, it is on the ipaq in Windows folder.
