Tungsten & beam receive

Have a new TT, working great so far except for beam receive. For some reason I can beam from the TT to my older m505 just fine, but when I try to beam from the 505 to the TT it won't connect, mesage on the 505 is "could not find a receiving handheld computer". I've tried turning beam receive off and on a couple of times, also have Bluetooth turned off. Anyone have any ideas? Is the TT faulty or is there a compatibility problem with the TT and older palms/OS's?

I had a similar problem with my Palm VIIx. Not sure what to make of it.. When I try to beam from my Palm VIIx it just automatically thinks it is receiving the same file it was sending. I just assumed it was the Palm VIIx maybe a screwed up a dot shortcut and put it in some kind of diagnostic mode.

Solved with a call to Palm, did a hard reset on the Tungsten and it fixed the problem.
