Regards jhbj 06-12-2003, 03:51 AM just curious, has anybody tried to track all-time high scores on the cascade game among revo/+ owners? WolfUK 06-12-2003, 04:13 AM Well the author sort of tried ... http://www.epoczone.com/jon/samegame.php3 :( You could also try the (now laregly inactive) RevoWorld site ... http://www.revoworld.com/dbShowNews.asp?ID=332 WolfUK 06-12-2003, 04:18 AM Originally posted by 106112909 Hi Does anyone of you know of a version of Cascade that will run on the PC? Regards Neuon released a game called TileFall which is essentially the same as Cascade (or SameGame to give it its original title). TileFall was written by Adam Dawes who also wrote a Windows version ... http://www.adamdawes.com/windows/win_tilefall.html If you search Google for "Windows Samegame" I am sure that you will find lots of other versions too. jhbj 06-12-2003, 07:09 AM thanks for the info, simon. was only able to manage an honest 5533. those 6000+ scores would need an abnormally lopsided occurrence of a single color of balls. hard to get that from a supposedly random process. WolfUK 06-12-2003, 07:20 AM It depends upon how 'scientific' you want to be. I used to play TileFall a lot and if a new game didn't have a high enough concentration of one colour connected then I'd just start another game until I got a high scoring board. I never managed a prefect board but the game did get very boring very quickly since the fun went out of it and the maths came in. PDA Street
