I need to tap your brain again.
I'm settling in with my 4705 and want to bring in dbase files. I came across Pocket xBase and this is exactly what I'm looking for.
Have you seen this program? I copied a dbase file in, but it can't read them.
I have no instruction on how to import my files, I e-mailed the author, but got no response in ten hours.
Can you help?

The program you metioned appears not to have any update in a while. Pocketgear store shows last update at 5 Jun 2003, so the program may have issues with newer Windows Mobile. If you get no response in a timely manner, it probably shows that the devolper is no longer working on the program.
You may want to take a look at this article listing database applications for pocketpc

The only thing is these programs works with Access database, so you may have to convert your database file to Access format.

Well, you came through again, thank you.
Looks like I have to learn Access, should not be that hard, I wrote an office management program for funeral homes in Approach from Lotus with underlying dbase files. For that matter, the files I want to transfer come from the same environment.

Thanks again
