Recovering archived Agenda files.

My beloved Psion Revo died in a motor cycle accident which I survived. I have recovered all backed up files on my PC except two archived Agenda files.

Could anyone help by converting these to Lotus Organiser 5.0 files?

If no one else has replied to your message, I can convert the files for you to Organizer 6, which has the same file format as Organizer 5. You can reply to me at jjcooke@yahoo.com

That is very kind of you indeed. I will email the two files and hope that you have no problems with conversion.

Do you find Organiser 6 a significant improvement on 5? I had been put off upgrading because I assumed that the file format would be different and did not want compatibility problems between home & work.

Pat,

I'll keep a lookout for the files and e-mail them back ASAP.

Org 5 and Org 6 are the only two versions that share the same file format. Org 6 has some improvements with interoperability with different e-mail systems, especially those using IMAP or things like Eudora. Other than that, there's very little difference between the two versions except for some minor bug fixes. Unless e-mail has been an issue for you, I wouldn't think upgrading would be worth the money.
