Hi, I have an iPAQ 3635 with which I can watch my home made movies, prepared by Windows Movie Maker - rendered the proper size, and filetype (.wmv) for the PPC. Works great!
Windows Movie Maker accepts .avi files for conversion to .wmv.
I'd like to convert (paid for) DVD movies into .avi, so then I can re-convert them to fit PPC, and enjoy them on long airtrips.
Any suggestions as to what software, etc. can do this?
Thank you
John:rolleyes:

You can use PocketDivXEncoder to encode

And Betaplayer to play

There is Also Pocket DVD --

Pocket-DVD Studio 3.3 (with New Feature) by pqdvd.com

This is a real easy program, and allows you to try it before you buy it. You can buy it at handago.com.

When you buy the program it will encode your DVDF about 3X faster than the trial. A full DVD is done in about 20 mins.

BetaPlayer is the best player on the market. And its Free!!!

Ive used both dozens of times and never had a problem.
