Thanks Mario AnswerDude 03-24-2005, 07:48 AM Yes, there are 2 gsm/gprs cards i know of; Enfora http://www.enfora.com/ Review http://www.mobiletechreview.com/tips/Enfora_GSM_CF_card.htm and Convergent http://www.convergentech.com/detail.aspx?ID=2 Review http://www.brighthand.com/article/Turn_Your_iPAQ_Into_a_Phone AntonyL 03-31-2005, 02:13 PM Hi, I have been trying to persue this idea with an hx 4700 but keep coming up against the problem that the ipaq has to be switched on to receive voice calls. I imagine that would decimate the battery. Enfora offer an extra battery but it looks quite big and also I don't think solves the problem of the ipaq being on or off. Does anybody know a way around this problem? Is there a third party program that can wake up the ipaq when it is off to ring for a voice call? Am I right in saying that the CF slot is always powered when something is plugged into it? so what it should need is an app to wake the ipaq only . Thanks PDA Street
