Hi, I followed your early experiences with the gps 10 while having one on order since early february. It arrived a few days ago and after getting myself a BT-dongle I started playing around with Garmin's snsrcfg utility.

There are two options, 'Power Save Mode' and 'Auto Power On Mode' that are not being saved into the gps 10. If you select them, send config to the gps and then retrieve the config from the gps those two values are turned Off.

The option 'Auto Power On' actually seems to activate 'External Power-on'. I think this is rather confusing.

Did anyone figure out what the option 'Phase Output Data' means?

Yes, in appendix B they call it Binary phase output mode but I don't understand what this function actually does....

Those technical appendixes are relly difficult to understand. :(
