clie screen blank after hot sync??

I've noticed that after I hotsync my Clie N760C to my win2K box, the screen on the clie goes blank... the back light is still on just the hotsync screen dissappears...

The hotsync works, and when i switch to another screen the screen shows right up.
anyone have any ideas?
this problem doesn't really break anything... just seems like it should work correctly!

If you are using FastCPU, disable it...

Are you using Backup buddy?

I noticed that if I turned on the option to backup the MS that sometimes I would have the blank screen happen after backup buddy failed to backup my MS.

I DO have Backup Buddy and I did just recently enable backing up my MS.
I guess this is an indication that the MS backup is not working...
Did you check with the BlueNomad?

I'll have to look into that...

BTW I don't have fastCPU, thanks though.

I'm currently in a dialog with blue nomad about this and the error that gets placed in hot sync log.

No resolution yet, some understanding problem on there end too. But I'm still working it.

I investigated the backup buddy angle... I have the latest version (1.51?) of backup buddy... but had not correctly installed the cardxxx.prc for backing up the MS in the clie... I did a Hot sync and... same thing... screen blanks after the hot sync... and I don't have any error in my log afterwards??
so perhaps this is my problem, perhaps not... but I look forward to hearing anything you come up with...
again this is more of an annoyance than anything...
