does anyone know how to send ringtones and themes from palm zire71 to ericsson t610 using infrared PLEASE HELP

I have no idea how to transfer ringtones and themes from a Palm to your phone using infrared. Why don't you simply download the things you want from your PC directly to the phone using the USB cable or directly to the phone using an internet connection?? Why are you using a Palm in the middle?
