Has any one successfully linked to the calendar in WebCT? I am stumped on the port number which is supposed to appear in the URL and of course does not. The default is 80 but that does not work either.

How involved are you with WebCT. I'm an educator in Calgary with courses going WebCT in the near future. I'd like to find out how PDAs can be used in the WebCT environment.

Hi Magpie;
Mohawk College has been using it for 3-5 years - sort of! There used to be 2 servers and now there is one. Some folks felt there was a way for studens to 'share' a completed exam file so one department has taken their server off line and not renewed the license. The other server is not gaining in popularity. Personally I found it difficult to get used to - I think it was the terminology and the tools - but now I just go about doing pretty much what I want. I certainly am not a power user by any stretch.

However, I did get it working with my Clie and port 80 was the solution after all. My own impatience was getting in the way - lol. The intent is to use WebCT calendaring etc. and then downlaod it to your pda. The reverse is not possible.
