semi broken power button :(

Yeah my tungsten E power button is semi broken,the right side of the button is loose, the other side clicks, so now im really pissed . ive just called to radioshack to know if they could repair.They can but the thing its that its 75$ bucks canadian.ive paid this thing 265$, what would u suggest??

I had been using my stylus to push the power button on and off, then one day my E took an 18" tumble off a chair (in the hard case, which opened) and the power button fell off. Bummer.

It's now attached with Scotch tape, but it still works. (I suppose that I could try a drop of glue, but I don't want to completely mess it up.)

Those power buttons are terrible. on my Tungsten E it had got worse and worse and then completely gave up, and I had to turn on by using the app buttons at the bottom. To turn off I had the pen movement from bottom to top set to lock and off.

Then one day I was crossing the road running in a hurry, the palm jumped out of my pocket, and fell on the road. It was damaged at the top, in such a way that the power button started to work again. It is now getting harder to use once more. So I suppose I will have to service it again by dropping it on concrete!
