PLEASE HELP
I have a Ipaq 3600 Pocket PC.
Last week, while traveling, I lost power and all files on the unit, I beleive the battery ran out.
When I returned to my office and put it back in the desktop holder, it would not sync with my computer.
I tried doing a hard reset as well as unplugging it from the USB port and plugging it back in.
It is not being recognized by my computer. It says NOT CONNECTED.
Has anyone experienced simlar problems?
To this point, I have never had any problems with the unit.
Can anyone provide assistance here?
I am not a very techy person!

If the battery completly ran down, your unit already hard reset. Try removing it from the cradle, soft reset it, and restart the desktop and sync again. You will need to delete previous partnership and establish new one, unless you have a backup then connect as guest and restore.

I did all of that, but when I put it in the dock, it doesn't recognize that it's connected by the computer?

Double check the physical connection to make sure they are not loose, and you may want to reinstall activesync, make sure you have latest version (3.8).

The upgrade of the new version of Active Sync appears to be working!
Thank you very much for your help with this and the quickness in which you responded!
