I just bought a Blkackberry 957 from one of my co workers who switched to the Treo. Tried to activate it yesterday. What a pain. He had it with Go.America, which charges 59.95 for service. I got Go.America to deactivate the PIN on their side, but was not able to get RIM to allow that same PIN to be used so I could get Service with Earthlink. I am getting the feeling that this is a HUGE pain. I know all Go.America accounts are being transfered to EarthLink on December 1st. Am I better off waiting until then to try and sort this out? Any ideas?

Solution Found. Call Go.America and ask them to Deactivate the Device. Call Customer Service. Tell them you have a deactivated device. (It takes days to deactivate) Ask to sign up with Earthlink. They send you an email that looks like this. You reply. Earthlink activates, your golden.
