Has anybody ever used any of the mapping programs for pda's?

Yes. Mapopolis is the most popuplar but HandMap is also a good program. Both have a GPS interface if you want to use the maps for navigation.

Jim, thanks for the reply. I took a look at Avantgo. with Map Quest. Seems to work pretty good. I downloaded a couple of maps, and a turn by turn map to my girlfriends house to see how it works. So far it looks pretty good. Its free.

FLIPPIN AWESOME software... that's free.

Best part is that it finds locations for you as well. So you can search out a Starbucks or ATM for example. Even give you the phone numbers, hours, and a description of the place :)

The commands are a bit confusing at first, but it's the best software I've seen for a pda.
