Hello,
It's been almost two weeks since M$ announcement for the availability of EUU3 for PPC2k2. Toshiba and Fujitsu-Siemens had already delivered it to their customers. HP sells the new 5xxx and 19xx iPAQs with the EUU3 built in.
Anyone knows when the EUU3 will be available to the rest of us having 36xx/37xx/38xx devices?

That's way weird/Stupid which ever you want to call it. They don't have it listed on the HP site.

I think HP is still too busy doing the merger stuffs to bother updating the links on their website. For future reference, use the link below, it should kick you to the right place, I think compaq people are still doing these ipaq updates, they'll update their own site first.

It's available and...
There have been some folks experiencing "invalid file" errors with EUU3... While that is to be expected on the 3600-series, it is not supposed to happen on the later models. I personally experienced that problem on my 3950. I found the problem to be related to having too many files in my iPAQ File Store. Temporarily cleaning out the File Store allowed the update to work flawlessly -- even after it had failed twice previously. No changes will be noted in Asset Viewer on in the ROM number after the update. The obvious change is the new media viewer (8.5) and a new theme (bliss)...

Hi All......
At long last EUU3 for the 3970!
However, after the update, I expected to see the extra option from the pop up (Server I think) in the Active Sync -> Tools together with 'Options' and 'Connect vis IR....' but its not there?
This apparently has been the way to test if you have a EUU1 or EUU2 for all the other iPAQ models.
Am I missing something?
