I am looking for earlier versions of the Palm Desktop, somethign that would support the expense application that came with the Vx.

Try here (http://www.palmone.com/us/support/downloads/add_downloads.html). I currently have 4.1SE (the first 4.1 link) on my desktop and it appears to support Expense (though I do not use it).

Version 4.01 at http://www.palmone.com/us/support/downloads/palmdt_4.html should also support the expense application.
