I need previous ROM version. -_-..

Hi! There.

This is my first time posting here.

After ROM upgrading to 2.5 of iQueM5, I can't get Blue Tooth GPS connection. It worked very well & promptly before ROM upgrade.


The reason why I use BT GPS for iQueM5, I want to use navigation in my country and so need another software and that doesn't combinate well with embedded GPS receiver but works well with BT GPS receiver.

My ROM version befor upgrading was 2.3, and I really need to downgrade(?) ROM.
Where and how can I get that?

The Garmin support old version of soft ware?

You can use third party applications with the built-in GPS on the M5. Just point them to COM2 to receive the NMEA GPS data.

I already knew that I can use 3rd party software with setting com 2.

But my country use unicord character and ofcourse i have to install software to use our letter, and also all our navigation software work after installing that language software.

The navigation software what I want to use work quite well with M5's embedded GPS antenna after setting comport 2, BAUD rate 4800 or 9600. Some times it collides and M5 goes down and needs soft reset somewhat GPS reception is not regular with embedded antenna. Idon't know why but I guess it has some problem with language supporting software.

I prefer using aircon vent type PDA mount and it's not good postion to get proper GPS signal. When using BT GPS receiver, the connetion was very good and nearly instantaneous, BT GPS battery lasts over 10 hours as well. It was very convenient.

After ROM upgrade, Whenever I try to get BT GPS connection, M5 continuously try to open com port and finally suspend, and needs soft rest. I ame sure, that's ROM upgrade relating problem.

Any way, I need previous ROM version or more advanced upgraded next ROMversion.:(
