Is "Course" a useless info for driving?

I am wondering what is the use of "Course" in MapSource route turns? Or, is it meant for those who fly on cars?:D

Never noticed that in Mapsource (in fact I seldomly calculate a route in Mapsource). It might mean the direction of the street you turn into.

It's because at the end of the day, you'll feel more important, if you know this value. :p

It's actually the direction you are heading, just prior to taking the turn.
