I'm trying to make Quew work with the GPS10 again. The GPS works with nRoute in Garmin mode, so that's not the problem. Also, I can put the GPS10 in temporary Garmin mode with the sensor config software. Then it becomes unreachable by the sensor software, as it should according to the GPS10 info (sticky above). Cycling power turns it back into NMEA.
I'm currently looking at the comm ports in the PDA. The serial connection currently uses comm 8 for inbound and comm 6 for outbund. What should it be for Que to work?? Is there a way to release a possibly blocked port?

A soft reset should be sufficient to free open resources like serial ports. I am sure you have tried this and it has not helped your situation.
At some point you may have to try a hard reset. I have seen this advice given lots of times in PPC forums for a lot of problems. Hopefully you can find another solution without going through that tedious process.

Que works now with the GPS10, some times. I got to test more (tomorrow) to see what causes the problem. Didn't change comm ports.

On my iPaq 3970 the Bluetooth Manager is set to:
COM7 for Inbound Com Port
COM8 for Outbound Com Port
In the Que software v 2.70:
System Setup/Interface
Communications Port Bluetooth Serial Port COM8
It works all the time!

Jonas,
Store gets my vote as well. My ports are the same as his and apart from an unlock problem with the maps mine has been rock solid as well.

As I said, I didn't need to change comm ports but I still wonder how one can change comm ports in windows mobile? In bluetooth serial ports settings advanced it says 8 for incoming and 6 for outgoing, but these numbers cannot be changed or manipulated.
Maybe this has been influenced by the Que software, because on the same screen there is a box to tick with the following message: Default device for outgoing serial connections: Garmin GPS10. Display the device selection screen the next time an outgoing serial connection is attempted.
And in Que Menu system settings interface it says:
GPS device BPS10 Bluetooth
Bluetooth Serial Port Com6
There is another BT opption which is BT UART on com5, but that ought not to be intended for the Qu-GPS10 connection (?).
Thus: If for some reason I wanted to change the port to Comm 7, I couldn't. It simply seems as if BT is only offered on comm 6 on the Loox 720 PDA.
