I have just purchased a Clie SJ30 and love it. I also have a M505.

This may sound strange. but if PDA's had a sex, I feel that the Clie would be female and the M505 a definite man. The palm just feels a bit more rugged whilst the Clie seems to be petite with very good looks.

It sound very much like I am getting obsessed!!! HELP!!

So, which one do you recommend me to buy?

I would recommend the Clie. After only having it a few days I have fallen in love with it. The hi-res screen and extra memory along with the smaller size just make it a smarter package all round. I know others will disagree.

I also own a PPC but soon went back to the palm operating system. It is simple and does a good job. There is also more free stuff around for the palm.

Do you practice Safe Sync  when you beam stuff from one to the other?

Luckily the IR on both are in conventional locations. If you tried to beam to a Handspring, you would have to do it in a different position (sideways) because that is where their IR is located!

I also have a clie sj30 and i think it's a hot voluptous female !.:D...it puts sort of a curse on ya when you hold it the first time....and makes ya take care of it/her...protect it/her...love it/her...as long as she's in your posession...and even the speaker gives off faint sounds..just like a chic ! :)

Hey...i was thinking about the speaker....i don't think it's difficult to replace it with a better speaker....because it's on the back cover...not sure if its on a board or glued to the back cover....but it's ALOT esier to get to it then most PDA's....like the Casio E-125 for example...you have to take everything out before you reach the speaker.

Anybody have opened a clie sj30 yet ??...if so what did you see concerning the speaker ...,,,,thanks
I'm not encouraging people to open it...just sharing my thoughts ok .

I suppose if the Clie is female it may be a mistake to put a louder speaker in her. If you give her a louder voice then it may be impossible to shut her up :)

I find mine sexier with a soft voice and bright clear hi-res complexion. Her cover is quite sexy too, but I feel I need to protect her a little better by wrapping her up in a leather or aluminium case. I am currently searching for a new outfit for her.

Any recommendations as to the best clothes for her?

ya :D ...but a louder voice is better sometimes..if you know what i mean :)

No idea which outfit ....i've been dating her only for a few days now

No cloth is better no ?:D

I have a friend that went to a shoe maker and got a cool pda case made tailored to his hp jornada...for like 20 bucks canadian..this is like 14 us.....it came out like body glove sort of and that's what i think a clie sj30 needs .
You know the high quality cover that covers only the screen...well i think a body leather suit that a clie ca slip into and cover it all eccept the front would be cool....this way it stays small....where as a hard cover or other kind of cover might increase it's size and i wouldn't wanna have that if it was mine....it's his righ rocking screen resolution and it's tiny size and of course the long battery life what made me actually buy one . :)

I think the clothes she came in are sexy. That nice grey miniskirt. I doo feel however that her complexion may be damaged if I keep her in my pocket too long and the skirt starts to slide from side to side, or things might get under the skirt!!

I have ordered a leather miniskirt for her which should be here in a few days. I'll let you know how she looks in leather.

ooooo....that sounds nieece ! :) ....but i think i'm gonna leave mine the way it came...her outfit rocks !...and hey...i got a mini keyboard !...yup...so we can communicate properly instead of just gestures :D .
it's a prety cute this kb...i think it's the tiniest on the market..so tiny !...and it comes with a tiny box for traspostation...well though sony !...also...the cable can b extanded a bit..making it a bit similer to a home pc keyboard.
I write alot...and if i use the screen kb most of the screen would be swallowed by it....but with the mini keyboard you have available to see and write on the whole screen .
The buttons on the mini kb are a bit hard to press though..just a little bit....you can open almost anything from the keyboard...prety cool....this way you save your screen from being scratched with time....and keep it clean and shiny :)
