I am looking to buy some memory for my Ipaq 3835, I understand that some memory will not work well with the Ipaq.

I am looking to buy 256mb Sandisk Secure Digital Card

So does anyone have any exp with this.

I have, and have had no problems; nothing but good memories there. I still use it to transfer data between the desktop and iPAQ via the Cruser USB adapter. I had to move up to a 512MB SD because I ran out of space.

my 256MB SD Sandisk just arrived in the mail today. I got it for $133 shipped from PCmall. My only problem is that for some reason I can't transfer files over to the SD card while the card is in the PDA. I had to buy a separate SD card reader. No problem, it was only $16 at Best Buy.

You are transferring files that have been synced to the My Documents directory using file explorer on the iPAQ? I don't think you can transfer files directly from the host PC to the storage card. You can specify the my documents directory on the SD when you use WMP to copy music.

If you use a network card and can access your desktop computers from the iPAQ, you can use that method to transfer file directly to the SD.

I transfer files through the WIndows Explorer from the desktop to the iPAQ storage and vise versa all the time.
