Just purchased an IPAQ 3765, and would like to convert data from my old Palm Desktop organizer software. I will be using MS Outlook 2000 as my new organizer software. Any suggestions?

Well if you have the Outlook 2000 syncing with your palm you shouldn't have to do anything other than to setup what items in Outlook you want synced with the iPAQ.

Did you meen that you are changing to the Outlook software from the Palm software you were useing?

If you want to do that then you will need to export your contact list and calinder events. I think you can do that with the Palm PIM software. Then inport it into Outlook. Im pritty sure this can be done... you might have to use CSV's, (comma seprated values) when exporting your Contactes and such..

The best way for exporting Palm data to Outlook is by using a program such as Pocket Mirror. Depending on the Model of Palm you have, this program may be included on your Palm's installation disk. When you run the Palm setup program, you are given a choice of synchronizing with Outlook. If you choose yes, then Pocket Mirror will be installed automatically. After the installation, you should run HotSync to transfer the data from your Palm OS device to Outlook.

Once your data is in Outlook, you should install and run ActiveSync to get the data onto your IPAQ.

I hope this helps.
