Memory Stick Popping Out

I have a N760C that is having problems keeping the Memory stick in it's slot. Keeps popping out after being inserted. After seaching this site I found the following thread

It looks to be some what of a problem for others in the past .. I purchased mine from a co-worker that owned it for maybe a month or two before selling it to me. I have called Sony and have just faxed the proof of purchase info from the original buyer. They (tech support) says I will get a box shipped to me to send my Clie in.

My question is this ... has anyone else had this problem and if so what have they done to fix it. If you shipped it in to Sony for repair, how long did it take to get it back .. and is it still fixed. Also did they fix your Clie or provide you with a replacement/new one.

Just curious about other's experiance with Sony Support. :confused:

I had the same problem with my 760 and sent it back to sony while it was still under warranty. They fixed it but I was without my clie for 4 wks!!! That is sad--needless to say they would not provide a replacement to use while the other was being repaired. I sold my 760 shortly after to a friend- got a nr70 to replace it :D . As far as I know the fix is still working. hope this helps.
