zire 72 digitiser major heartache

My zire 72 digitiser continually loops or fails. I have soft reset, hard reset, removed screen protectors, cleaned the screen - yet it continually resets works for 4-5 clicks and then goes out of alignment. Any suggestions from anyone. (This is now the third palm product I have which has died....m130 and m505 are both dead and it seems that I'm up for a major repair bill from Palm) Helppp!!!!

Have you tried DigiFix (http://www.copera.com/download.html)?

Reading the FAQs, digifix might not be a help due to the "looping" of the digitizer...but many thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a go.
