Metal or leather case

I would be interested in opinions re how satisfied people are with metal or leather cases. Do they protect the pda any better than the original case? Room for cards would be handy, but I am concerned that a meta; case may slide out of my pocket more easily than the case that came with my ipaq (4150).

I'll go with levver 'cos metal ain't got mettel and I don't wannit a-slippin' out of nuttin' and dropping to terra firma and a-bouncin' aroun', if yuz gits me meening?

metal case is recommended because it would lock the pda inside and never let the pda slip out.

on the other hand,it would avoid the pda from any pressures and leather case couldn't.pressures can cause pda's screen break.

For my iQue 3600 and iPAQ 4705 I have leather cases. I have dropped and kicked them with no ill effect. The only thing that happened on both is that the SD card popped out.

As much protection as a metal/plastic case offers, they are a pain to deal with if you want to use the PDA function.
