I am able to synch to my laptop and have been transferring docs/files back and forth. I have one question tho, can I get online using the cable that the PDA came with or do I have to use the bluetooth feature? Trying to get online to access the web but have been unable to.... Otherwise, you would need some additional software to connect through the USB connection. Mocha PPP has always worked well for this but I have no idea if the slightly different OS on the T5 would allow Mocha to still work.
