I've just updated to the Tungsten T and it is an incredible improvement over my Palm Vx. I am amazed the the processor speed as well as the colors.

With it still in pristine condition, I am eager to use some type of screen protection to keep it from getting dinged up. I used WriteRight sheets on my Palm Vx some, but found that they hindered my view of the screen more than helped. I did like the writing surface it provided, however.

Are there any other good screen protectors out there, and more importantly, are they recommended and sized for the TT? I'm curious as to how the sliding mechanism might affect the use of a screen protector.

I've been able to adequately use the Palm m505 WriteRight screen protectors (by Fellowes) on my TT. The sliding part just ignores it. The bottom edge of the screen protector is curved to fit a m505-shaped screen, but I find that the curve is not significantly different (to me) from the horizontal bottom of the graffiti area on my TT. I'm reasonably happy with it. My only problem with the WriteRight screen protectors is that they are so expensive.

For my m505 it was important that I use a WriteRight that was designed specifically for use on a color screen. When I used a Palm III WriteRight (cut to fit), there were optical fringes visible across the display. I bought some Palm VII WriteRights, and they worked fine on my m505 after I cut them to fit too -- no fringes this time. Eventually I got some m505 WriteRight screen protectors, which also worked fine on the m505 and work fine now on my new TT (without trimming!). My point is that you *may* experience trouble with screen protectors that aren't designed to be used on a color device. I don't *know* that this is a problem for the TT, but, as you can see, it *was* a problem for my m505.

Hi, you should really give protectors from Brando a try. I received them yesterday. Good fit, reusable and can be washed.
