Why? You don't have to ask for road descriptions now! :D :D ;)

Translators, phrase books don't know. There are lots of dictionaries for Palm though that you can use. Why not look at Palmgear?

yes, i dont have to ask for road directions, however should i require something, i want to make sure i'm expressing myself correctly.
i found lingvosoft translators, but i'm trying to cheap it a bit too, so i'm still searching for a freebie

try EasyTalk. I do not know how comprehensive your requirement is but this translates words and common phrases available for most European languages. Look for it on www.palmgear.com or contact palmlink@gmx.com. I believe you can download a trial version.

I use both German and Italian for my travels. Works well.. flashcards, translation, copy/paste, but no conjugation or phrase translation that I know of. uses whole screensize of ique 3600. Versions: extended, advanced and full. try & buy download caveat: "The more you use the unregistered dictionary, the more you see a message about registration procedure." Hope this helps.

The problems you really get into while travelling are hard to solve with the help of small dictionaries. Like the other day, when I had to go through the details of the brake system of my car in dutch.
A specialized multilingual technical vocabulary for cars would be good to have. With images.
This is one to know but not that easy to find (try it in your Palm dictionary):
English: (Brake) Caliper
French Étrier de frein
Dutch: Remtang
Swedish: Bromsok
German:
SpanisH:?
Italian?
