"Default Ime" on top line when I start program.

When I try to start 1 program from the Programs window it changes the word 'Programs" to "Default Ime" and the progam never starts. Any ideas? The other programs run fine and I have run this map program before with no problems.
Oh ya it's a 3900. do you have a manual link for it? It' not on ypu list.

What is this program? Have you tried soft reset the iPAQ and start this program again?

The only documents for iPAQ 3900 i found from HP are for ppc 2002;

the program is AmerAtlas. It came on the 3950 I bought on ebay last month. I'm new to the ipaq but not to handhelds.
how do i soft restart and what will i loose?

Apparently the site forum soft ware automatically makes certain keywords into paid links that go to advertisers. Probably one of the ways it covers costs.

To soft reset, just use the tip of the stylus to push and release the little reset button at the bottom of the unit. You will not lose anything, it is somewhat similar to restarting the desktop.

Turns out it was the Gps reciver causing the problem when i was changing programs.
