Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : the old Boards' content
Hi all,
A quick note.
If you, like me, are dismayed at the loss of the 'support database' that the content of the old boards had become, then please contact the site owners via the 'contacts' section of the site and say so. Also please check 'yes' in the poll at the top of this post (the question has been cut off)
And to balance the content of this post, I'd just like to say a big thankyou to pdastreet for getting rid of the creaky old Boards software. It had a few unique features, but obviously could not scale to the size that the boards had swelled to.

Actually, I think some of the dialog boxes have text in an extremely pale shade of blue which is effectively invisible. I did, with difficulty, manage to see some text with my laptop's screen.
yeah you're right Mike.
I've emailed our man at PDAStreet to let him know...

The dialogue can be made visible by dragging your mouse pointer across it as if to highlight it.
I have voted "yes" of course. Without the accumulated wisdom from the old forum I wouldn't be using my Revo effectively today.
restoration and search of the old forum is essential for us.
Q. How do PDAStreet make their money anyway? From ads?

I can't believe the owners of the board can dump that much useful information - surely they could see from the logs that it was well used?
There's no point in coming to this board now for me - the archived information was the main resource.

I did 'select all' on a number of pages in this site and found a lot more invisible writing.
Hello Diem,Mike and everyone, greetings from the USA
I know I say very little but make a point of visiting and reading the posts each day. I just added my yes vote to restore the contents of the old boards. If nothing else restore the ones that link to specific pages of interest...ie dismantling of Psions,FAQ's,sources of accessories, members sites of information on their Psion. I would think between all the people in this group we may be able to set up a database of this information if some of the old posts are not returned. I will send my comments in the contacts section as well.

Hi all...I totally agree and miss the old message board. As a MC218 user I feel there is a need to have a separate forum. This will assist me in two ways
a) I know where specifically to look for comments/guide etc on MC218
b) It will give me more confident that the respond is made specifically with reference to MC218
Also please maintain a link to the old message board (mc218). There is a wealth of knowledge there that has help me a lot...specially the link to other reference site. Unless somebody is willing to summarise the whole message
cheers

Management has heard you.
Access to the old forums should be available by tomorrow.
