I'm trying to connect my Tungsten to my Bluetooth phone (Sony-Ericsson T68i) for internet access. I have been able to successfully connect them for dialing the phone but not for accessing the internet.

The error I am receiving is Wrong Access Point Name (APN) when the Tungsten has the phone connect to the GPRS network.

I called T-Mobile and they told me it was because the APN for the connection was incorrect. The problem is that the Tungsten Phonelink software sets up this connection every time it connects to the phone. For example, I deleted the "GPRS" connection on the t68i. When I had the Tungsten connect, it set up a new "GPRS" connection with an APN of "wap.myvoicestream.com". I changed it to "internet2.voicestream.com" but when the Tungsten connected to the phone, it changed it back.

In the phonelink software on the Tungsten, there are several choices for your carrier. There are 7 choices for Voicestream as the carrier (VS East, East VPN, West, West VPN, Central, Central VPN and VS USA GPRS). I tried all of them and they all change the APN back to the wrong one.

I downloaded the latest phonelink files from Palm.com. Is there something else I need to do?

I had the same problem and figured it out. I work fine now. I posted the entire experience on PDABuzz.

Go here (http://forums.pdabuzz.net/showthread.php?threadid=43347) for that thread.

The last post tells you how to set it up.
