I've got a PCMCIA jacket for my iPaq (3765) and want to know if you can get a tool to turn the jacket into something that can take CF cards etc. Is there an adaptor available?

Cheers

You betcha, I've seen them for only a few bucks on line, I've also seen them at Radio SHack for about $15. Your choice. THey also have a PC Card (PCMCIA) adapter that I saw a review on that takes SD, MMC, Mem Stick (Sony), and Smart Media Cards. I highly recomend the site for reviews it's called URL=http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/]The Gadgeteer[/URL].

In fact if you want it now, you can pick up PC card adapters at most Best Buys, CompUSA, etc. The CF adapters are usally the cheapest to get, going as low as 12$ in retail stores for the sandisk one. Other that are for items like Smartmedia, SD, MMC, Memory Stick, can cost you as high as 60$ , since its a lil more complex than just doing a straight pin-thru like on the CF adapter ( CF have their own controller chips, the other dont have them, which is what makes them thinner and smaller, but also requires that the device pluged into knows how to use the flash stick )
