Does anyone know where I can download the Series 7 operating system?

You can't. It is built into the ROM on the "personality module".

True - although this ROM is actually FlashROM. At one point a patch was made available from Psion for upgrading from Build 754 to Build 756 (which fixed a few system bugs apparently). I guess the majority of Series 7's still around will already be 756 but it occurred to me after seeing this post that these patches may still be of interest to some. I've had a dig around on my hard disk and found them and I'll upload them to my Pscience5 website (http://www.pscience5.net) later tonight.

From what I have read elsewhere, the Series 7 personality module has a 16Mb of ROM and a 4Mb FLASH ROM. This allowed the original OS to be "patched" but not completely replaced.

This is why there is no chance of upgrading the Series 7 personality module with the netBook OS.
