Anyone know of a weather program for the Palm platform that will give animated weather maps? I know that WorldMate Pro will now do that but WOW .........is that bulky or what (and the yearly fee thing gets me).

Any other "animated" weather programs out there?

Cheers,

Syno

I know Agendus Pro will let you get weather forecasts, but not weather maps. I am not aware of any other weather programs, although I'm pretty sure some exists somewhere.

I believe that you can access this site from any palm - although depending upon your browser - it may take sometime to load.

Thanks Moose!

If nothing else, that's a pretty nice site!

I use Weather Manager from tinystocks.com ($9.95). It updates every hotsync and you set-up what locations and weather maps you want it to sync each time. It has never ever had a problem, other than some of the weather bureau sites are down occasionally, but that is their fault not the Weather Manager program's. You can obviously do the same with Stock Prices if you so choose.

I don't know if this will help but I have AvantGo with AccuWeatherand each time I sync it updates the maps and the forecast. It gives you Radar and Satellite maps.
Hope this helps Tom

Sure. Anything helps. Thanks for the advice. For now, I'm sticking with good old "WeatherManager" ......... it seems to be best of class.

Animated maps may be viewed and updated on your handheld via WorldMate now! Very cool ............ albeit expensive.
