Terminal Problem? Will not respond...

Starting yesterday morning (I left it outside by accident, covered by a porch roof, in a net bag, in about 50 degree F low temperature)-
T|E does not resond to any buttons except reset button. Screen displays like an old b/w lcd screen, very dark, monocromatic, I can hear the screen whining. Ocassionally the screen will power up bright (when plugged into charger or USB cord) but still will not respond to any input.

Power+Reset+Up button takes me to the "set date and time" screen but will not respond to any keys. Again I Power+Reset+Up button and I get the "preferences" screen, T|E will not respond to any input.

It is well out of warranty period.
Any suggestions?

It may be that you just picked up some moisture from the dew overnight. The worse thing to do is keep trying to make it work. Leave it in the charger off for at least the next 24 hours. Try it again. If it still doesn't start normally, leave it alone for another 24 hours and try again. Moisture by itself will evaporate and not cause any harm but powering the machine up with moisture in a critical component can cause a short that will kill you machine.
