Assigning Files To An Application

Hi, I'm a new member. This is my problem.
I have a HP HX-2750 Model.

I have music files on my sd/cd cards. When I try to play them directly from the card via explorer I get a message
saying:
" There is no application associated with____________.Run the application first,then open the file from within the application.

I know that I can play it directly from the card (others that I know play there's that way).

Try create a My Documents folder on the storage card and put music files in it.

I tried the suggestion; to create a my documents on the sd/cd card and put the files in there. But it didn't work

Any other suggestions??

What music format are you using? Double check the spelling of My Documents, i think you need to capitalize M and D. Try soft reset as well. And did you installed any other media player on your unit recently? You can also try these uitlities to re-associate file types to application you need;
